A friend of mine took me to Isamu. She praised this place in Beacon, NY. For me, it was my first time at this restaurant. The service was great and the waitress was gracious. My girlfriend ordered some chicken platter and was served beef instead. However, the waitress corrected their mistake and was very apologetic. I got the Kung Poa Chicken and Scallion Pancakes. OH MY GOD...it was amazing!! The food came out rather quickly. We didn't wait very long. Everything was delicious. I definitely want to go back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Fine selection of Japanese cuisine. Great atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Steamed dumplings, broccoli/beef and white rice along with a small bottle of Sapporo beer was a most delicious combination.

Years ago I would order here and get the bento box, I never tried their dinner. Now that I've tried their dinner we have been back 3 or 4 times already. Their Chinese food is very fresh. It's worth the 25-30 min drive. The spicy beef platter and the general tsao chicken are delicious!

The food and service exceeded my expectation and they charge half of the price compared to similar restaurants in long island. Highly recommend this place.
