Very nice place to go out for a walk, seemed kind of small compared to other parks but pretty good view into the Hudson river, and the piermont marsh.

Beautiful local state park. Well maintained. Let's keep it that way. Carry in, carry out! Picnic tables and grillsprovided. Clean bathrooms. Great walking trails. Views of the Hudson River.

One of my favorite parks there is so much to see and do! The pool is great and well maintained, they do happy hours with live music in the summertime which are a blast. The hiking and biking trails are also great, I've also found unlike most other parts in this area people are very respectful with their dogs which I really appreciate.

Yes, you have to pay to enjoy that ice cold water, junk food and not re-entry policy, not even to go to get something from your car.
The cost of parking will be less than the cab fare there and back.
You might not get a spot for the holidays.I am not sure about a permit
You can also bring your own grills but they must be used on the ground.
Not sure, there are hiking spots and areas though
