I went to Malan the day before Thanksgiving by some miracle they had an opening when everyone else I called in Boonton was booked. Ashley who is the owner did my haircut and the haircut was perfect she is so talented! I arrived several minutes before my haircut and we began right on time. The bathroom was spotless, Jen at the front desk and Ashley were super friendly and we talked and laughed the entire time I was there. I’ve been getting my haircut by the same person for 13 years and now I have just found myself my new permanent hair stylist. Thanks again Ashley!!

This was my first time at Malan and it was the best salon experience I have had in over 6 years. Sheila did an amazing job with my haircut and color! When I walked in to the salon, I felt immediately at home. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. I brought of photo of what I wanted and I can say confidently that my cut and color looked exactly like the photo. I felt so cared for and was impressed with the skill of the colorists. I can’t wait to come back and I’ll be recommending this wonderful salon to my friends and family!

The salon is very clean. As soon as you walk in you are greeted for professionals with a smile on their face. My stylist is the best person I have had my hair cut buy in 20 years. She said I had virgin hair. I wanted to get color and highlights and she said no. It looks like you have highlights. I said yeah grey. She said don't do it. People pay money for that color. Now any other salon would have gotten the color board out and said choose your colors. She lost money by saying no don't color it. I was so taken back by the honesty. I love it there.
