I rarely write negative reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel. The reception area was fine and the desk staff courteous and helpful, but our room was appalling. The carpet was worn and looked dirty. The apparatus in the toilet tank wasn’t working and so it didn’t flush properly. The tub, shower and shower curtain looked dingy, the shower faucet was difficult to operate, and there was almost no water pressure. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which I think is a building code violation. The door to our room jammed when we tried to close it and we had to shove the door to get it to close properly. The walls of the room were very thin and we could hear the loud conversation and barking dog of the guests in the next room. Our room had not been serviced when we returned to it on the second night of our stay. I called the front desk and was told the rooms weren’t cleaned until checkout. (We had not been notified of this.) I had to take the dirty towels down to the desk myself to exchange them for clean ones. On the morning we checked out, the elevator floor had dog urine and/or orange juice all over it. Bottom line: horrible experience. Had we been planning longer than a two- night stay we would have checked out and gone to the nearby Hampton Inn, which is what I highly recommend anyone do. Oh, and this lovely experience cost us close to $250 each night!

The building is very attractive when you pull in. The rooms feel like they’re old with some updates, and not all updates are done very well, e.g. the newer shower curtain falling down, the dented fridge on the floor that moves around every time you try to open it. I don’t think it warrants the price. We’ve been traveling for a couple of weeks and have stayed in nicer places for less money. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was going through a rough time. My grandma was dying and I was driving from south Carolina and had to stop. Couldn't see very emotional. Plus was driving with my 2 children one that is 4 with autism and adhd. On memorial weekend.. They had mercy on me and helped by allowing me to check in at a discount rate which they didn't have to.. I truly appreciate your staff at the front desk.. They were definitely God sent that night..

I love that the mattress in my room was in a sealed protective cover. I had a traumatic experience with bedbugs in a different hotel and love it when I see a hotel sealing their mattresses to protect their guests and their mattresses from bedbugs. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

Hi Lucinda! I know it seems like our restaurant has been under renovation forever, but we're seriously shooting for it to reopen in January or February of 2020. Once we're up and running again, we have big plans to bring back the Sea Feast!
Well I just think it's too much
Hello We only have the lobster fest right now for tour groups. We are in the process of changing menus and renovating banquet room and we might reopen the lobster fest after. Right now we have nightly dining available each night in our lounge. Edward Oliva General Manager
