This staff lied to me and said they were closed when they were in fact open and was rude to me for simply asking where the restroom was. My first time here since I signed up. Extremely disappointed. Will be seeking my money back.

Lots of great activities at this Y. I've attended several community meetings and the parking was ample and the rooms and restrooms were very well kept. Rooms can get chilly, particularly in the gym because of the size. Very friendly and helpful staff.

On Summer 2018 I get a family membership to the YMCA Rio Vista in Maywood CA, and while we where at the gym my two kids 9 and 2 years old where at the daycare, after exercise at the gym we took our kids from the day care to the swimming pool, apparently everything was working fine, until one day when at the day care they could find my 2 year old kid! The young lady that was tanking care of my kids that day said that she doesn’t know where my kid was…after a while they find my kid outside the YMC installations!! Fortunately he was find playing with other kids at the playground, and I don’t know how long he was outside!! What if he run to the parking lot or the street… We report this incident to the person who was in charge that day, and he didn’t care he just said to the young lady be careful next time, he don’t even report the incident! As a parent I was frustrated and angry at the same time! After few days we contact a person that finally help us! She said that there was no report of the incident and she was going to take care of this problem. So for me most of the people that work there are not qualified for the job!

The staff their is very stuck up specialy at front desk. They don't care to give any information out or they have you on hold for long time. I think if you are going to work at place like the y people should grow up.

Sorry, Karen. You are wrong. I called and said they were open. Go ahead and call the manager KAREN.
You're asking the community, not the employees of YMCA. Read the sub heading next time or learn to read better
Yes
You can volunteer, yes but as of right now I don't think so but you can try calling, I called and said the gym was closed
You are going to need someone who already goes there so they could give you the day pass
No. If you are paying to get in fine. But if you're a member of the Y just go to another YMCA location that has a pool too. The lifeguards treated us like it was a community pool instead of a club that we pay to be part of. Other YMCA locations with pools have life vest for children floating boards and water noodles for everyone to use. It wasn't just one summer experience. I went forn3 years and it was always the same while using this locations pool.
I'm not sure but call the YMCA they should know
The actual gym area is small but equipped with all your workout needs. From cardio to weights. I am comparing it to other YMCA gyms I've visited and by far it is the smallest although there are various other rooms with bikes and ellipticals.
No
No idea, but we can ask the instructor
No
Yes you do
They have individual and family memberships you can get a free seven-day pass through the internet and then you decide which one suits you they have many activities for minors and people of the third age and the environment is very healthy give yourself the opportunity to give yourself something nice 😛👍
