We have always avoided staying at this location only because we thought it was more expensive. It actually is more reasonably priced than some of the other hotels and after our first stay here, I would not stay anywhere else. The convenience of staying here makes the Ripken Experience so much more! If you get a room overlooking Cal's Yard you baseball kid won't leave the window when they are in the room. It also allows your other children the option of remaining in the room if the weather isn't great or if they want to sleep in on an early game. Our twin girls were thrilled we didn't have to bring them to a 7am batting practice for an 8am game. The only reason I didn't rate the rooms a 5 star was because our first room had been cleaned with something that had a very strong odor. We contacted the front desk and they couldn't have been more helpful. Brian was outstanding and helped move our room immediately. The service was really outstanding and I haven't experienced the kind of service and concern for our happiness than I did with Brian at the front desk. The kids have the best experience at the complex at night. They can watch games under the lights or play their own games on any of the other unoccupied fields. If you don't stay here the kids don't get the full Ripken Experience! I wouldn't stay anywhere else when playing at Ripken!

In from out of town for my sister wedding, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, stayed in a 2 room and 1 room suite, kitchenette was nice to have. NO blow dryers that was inconvenient traveling, I assumed a hotel would have that. Some rooms have water for you some didn't, clean and nice breakfast options, you can ask for a go box to take back to your room, I liked that!! Staff very friendly, I would recommend for travel business or pleasure.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you're traveling for baseball. The staff were friendly and helpful, beds are clean and comfortable, gym was nice and relatively clean, full kitchen access was wonderful and the set up of the room as cozy. However, there were many areas that haven't been dusted and a very long time, many walls and doors need repainted, there was a ceiling leak in our room that was patched and never repainted, there was mold in both of the bathrooms, bathroom and bedroom door locks did not work, carpets were very worn, one bedroom door did not close because it got stuck on the carpet, carpets were very dirty, main hallways were not vacuumed (saw the same pieces of trash each day) and pool is gross and never any clean towels. Overall it is overpriced for the amount of work that needs done on the rooms but it worked for the short time we were there.

Room was clean and not too cramped. Staff was nice. Obviously only reason you are staying here is because your son is playing baseball but rest assured you will be happy with the accomodations. Check in took little longer than hotels usually do but nothing too unreasonable. Only thing I thought was odd is that they give you shampoo and conditioner but don't give you body soap. I called housekeeping and they dropped off another set of shampoo and conditioner. There is a Target 2 minutes away so I just bought a bar.

What is the best airport to fly into? Is there a shuttle?

BWI or Philly are good airports. I don't think there is a shuttle.
