Large outdoor space with benches and grassy areas for a picnic. The real 5 star experience is the summer Bowl season. It is the best, even compared to the Hollywood bowl because it is free. What a great way to bring together a community. It starts at 8 pm so make sure the little ones are comfortable.

The benches are wooden so bring something soft to sit on. It was a nice night once the sun went mlm down. I would bring snacks and come early for better parking!

Drumline Live was entertaining, soulful, rhythmic, and energetic The cast members are talented performers and engaged the audience. A fun evening under the stars. Nice to see that many from the community supported this tribute to HBCUs.

Wish I knew about this outdoor venue sooner. Nothing much happens in the area but this is cool. Free concerts and shows. Tips and donations based. Parking on the st. Or the lot down the block at the old mall. Food and drinks served sometimes. Icecream is 3bucks. Come early for good seats. Bring picnic blankets, food and snacks and hangout with friends with live music.

There are restaurants down the street, just a short walk. I have gone to Darby's on the corner and ordered something to go before. They have good sliders. There is the Gourmet Pizza on State Street a little further up. People seem to like to take one to the Bowl. Also a Mexican Restaurant near that. If you want to bring something from home, beer and wine is okay to bring too, but bring plastic glasses or cups. Most available seating is bench seats, so make it something easy to handle in a cramped space. Go early!
