They have upgraded their brewery. Tap house and brewing are different. Lots of parking space. Craft events sometimes. They have their own food trailer serving fries, boom boom shrimp, chicken tenders, sandwiches. Tons of beers to chose from lagers, IPAs, seltzers. Their Strawberry Ale is good and so many others. They have special food menu some days. They also have musical bingo Wednesday nights. This is fun and they give out prizes too. You can try flights to decide which you like and flights sometimes are $5 off. They have ice cream, sodas, soda waters and Slate merchandise

Great experience here at slate farm. I made a long trek from Rockville md to check this place out and it was worth the trip! Very beautiful up here in northeast Maryland. The first thing you notice when you walk in the taproom is the extensive draft list. They have 30 beers on tap! I’ve never seen that many taps at a brewery with the exception of maybe other half. That could be a turnoff because you may think that it could affect quality but not the case. The ones I tried were all great! I got the two they brewed for Ukraine relief. I think it’s wonderful that they’re reaching out to help in this awful crisis! This place also whips up a mean burger using local beef! The woman at the bar was really nice and sweet. She may have been the owner, wasn’t sure but she was really helpful and made me feel welcomed. I’d definitely be here often if I lived close but anyone who’s looking for a change of scenery and some great beer, check this place out!

Slate Farm had an excellent varied selection of house beers. From ciders, to seltzer to doppelbocks. Sherryl, the bartender, was so kind and helpful. Additionally the food is farm fresh. Creamiest, brightest mozzarella sticks I've ever had! Will return.
