Tim was an excellent teacher/trainer, who helped me break years of bad habits. His attention to detail and 1-on-1 training was truly top notch. We spent an entire day down range, shooting over 350 rounds in static and dynamic exercises. If you want real training and not just a box checked, I highly recommend North Harford Firearm Training. Taking this class was a great experience. Tim made the class easy and fun but still learning new things. He takes the time to make sure everyone is improving in their skills. I would highly recommend this class to a new person or even a person who has lots of experience.

I took the 16 hour class to apply for my CCW with Tim and it was amazing. Learned more with him then any other instructors. He really explained everything and made it easy to understand. After this class with Tim i feel much more knowledge about firearms and feel much safer handling them. I would definitely take more classes with him.

Thanks for your inquiry Patty! Both of the classes you see on our calendar right now would be suitable for a brand new shooter. The 4hr HQL is predominantly informational with very little time with hands on the gun. Our 2-day course includes the 4hr HQL but adds additional discussion, a few hours of dry-fire practice in the classroom and adds a range day to include a 350rd course of fire. We've had tons of brand new shooters of all ages come through both classes with 100% success. Feel free to give us a call to discuss in more detail if necessary. Thanks!
