Visiting an apple orchard was a first for me, and Lohr’s definitely so. I, nor the students I was accompanying on this field trip, didn’t know what to expect. Well, I’d say now, dress for walking. And Dress dirty so you can enjoy it. Seated in a large acreage, you drive up to the homestead, with a large garage, siloh, parking, and shop. It is very homely looking, and you can pose for pictures around the signs, pumpkins, fields or go apple picking. The orchard is a large, and an established one. Seems you can walk a couple of miles. Lots of trees. Trees are mature and healthy, producing loads of huge large red and green delicious apples, plus Granny Smiths. I had the joy of @pickin mi own apples”! Such a lovely experience for me and the kids. And the best part was the leaving. Why?! I got to go home, and bake these yummy apples into several apples pies with lots of help. Yay!!!!; very much enjoyed this and re on mend that you do the same too. By the way, they are closing for the season now, but make apple cider all winter long. Yay for good old time activities. A great place to go. Now excuse me please whilst I go look for some ice cream to eat with my delicious apple pie. See ya next spring! :-)

Cute little spot to grab pumpkins! I'm not sure if there's bathrooms available. I did not see any. They have a Field where to can walk to work a wagon and grab pumpkins. They have a small store and sell goodies and drinks. Very QUIET! There's a cute pond.
