These people are so unscrupulous! They charge us outrageous prices for energy and use that money to live extravagant lives whilst letting their infrastructure rot away and charging us for their accountability when their utilities cause damage. We get charged flat rates when they turn off our power for "high winds". Meaning, they give out less power for charging the same price. We need a new power company! This monopoly needs to go out of business.

Screw you guys and your power outages!! We have food that needs to stay cold, children and babies that need air conditioning, etc. In all honesty, Nikola Tesla had the right idea in sharing energy and light to the community. The world would be different if it went that direction.

I set up autopay on my account that supposed to go into affect once my roommate cancels his policy. Instead they set up my information on his account so I was charged his bill in full. I call so they can explain how this could happen and admit to their error. They didn’t reimburse me my 150 and they say he’s the one that has to call and cancel the autopay. I never authorized my information to be linked with his account. It’s like the people who work here are incompetent. So I had to cancel my checking account and open a new one to avoid charges in the future.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. SCE is probably the WORST energy company in the world. They are expensive, even if you do upgrades to your home ( ie. We got a new eco heater/ac unit that cost a pretty penny, a smart thermostat, an eco water heater, low energy pool pump, smart plugs and power strips, etc. The list goes on...). Its just tiring to have made all these purchases to intimately make my bill hurt less each month, and my bill only went down a whole $0.10 since I enrolled all my stuff into incentive programs created by SCE or partnered with them to help with larger homes like mine. Come to find out this morning that I cant even use the points I've earned saving energy. I participate in ohmconnect and I have about 10000 points, which I'm sure is probably $19-$20 but hey, money is money when it comes to a bill, I earned it; I cut off my whole breaker box during these hours and sit in darkness sometimes to earn these points. I just tried to apply my points to my bill, but I get an error with a link instead with a notice from the CEO of ohmconnect starting that SCE has not paid ohmconnect in 8 MONTHS! They have been ordered to pay but the haven't, and yet they are still able to take our money and even raise our rates. They make sure we know that soon they will be raising our bills by 45% because of some decision that they voted on without asking their customers at all. I sure wish that I could not pay my bill for 8 months and then send them a notice letting them know that hey, I feel like you actually owe me 45% of my non payments back soooo, how do you wanna pay, debit or ach? And dont even get me started on their "assistance" programs, those are an absolute JOKE. If you get into the care program and even properly send in your verification showing you meet the income required, they still remove you randomly and your bill shoots up, then when you call, they give a run around saying the CARE program is through a third party and they are behind by 10 days with processing apps but they are only looking at new apps not recertifications so they're probably not gonna get to yours at all so dont hold your breathe but call us back in 10 days so we can tell you the same BS we just told you. Thanks SCE, for being so basic.

I would call and ask see what explanation they give you it's been going on in different areas sometimes I think they are ripping customers off my bill was so high I couldn't believe it is applied for there discount and I had to get help I went to the San Bernardino country to apply for help it .
