My mom received a sympathy basket after her sister’s funeral. When the flowers were delivered, the diffenbachia was drooping horribly. We thought it possibly had gotten cold. Then the next day, the syngonium was doing poorly. So I helped her transplant them to new pots. Inside the basket, the plants were bone dry. It looked as though it had been poorly thrown together and then forgotten about. We watered them and let them be. I came back today and both plants are fine! I have gone much longer than I should have on watering some of my plants, including my own syngonium, and I have never seen them looking as poorly as these did before we watered them. I would guess it had been a week at the very least. The diffenbachia lost several leaves, too. I forgot to get a picture of the syngonium the day before we transplanted it. I included picture of the diffenbachia, before and after. I certainly will never buy anything from this place. I have never gotten funeral plants or otherwise that have been this poorly taken care of.
