Kankakee Tholens is way better than the Bourbonnais location. more knowledgeable and very friendly, eager to help any way they can. Love spending a good chunk of money in a place that really takes care if you.

Called Steve (owner) on May 31st. Sent him an email like he asked for, to get an estimate on doing some patio block. Weeks went by no response. Called the store multiple times and was told by his wife that he is very busy and that they are booked for 6-8 weeks. Told her that's fine ....I just wanted an estimate so I could book the work. Still no call back. Another week went by and called again. Left another message with a woman for Steve to call me back. Days gone by, yet no phone call back. Maybe because the work I want done isn't going to cost $THOUSANDS UPON THOSANDS$ they aren't interested. But at least tell me so. I'd have more respect for them if they came flat out and said this than instead of blowing me off. I used to shop at both locations...but this has left a bad taste in my mouth and will GLADLY drive out of the way to shop at other businesses that actually take customers seriously and make an effort to call us back.... because in the end without customers you have no business. I will not recommend them nor say anything good about them anymore.

Basic thieves. I purchased 4 trees last year in the fall. When two of them didn't even make it through the winter, I was told they were guaranteed and to go back in, only to find out the "guarantee" was 1/2 of refund of the purchase price for any tree that went bad. I wasn't even going to get a big enough refund to purchase a single tree. Their arrogance was overwhelming as well, with them stating, and I quote, "we don't even need to do this for you." I'll never be back.

My wife and I and our landscaper want there 10 times . Spend over 1.5k .talk to the guy and lady (rude)on front desk couple plants especially EUP red dragon they have 2 of them at that time, they told me were sold . And yesterday my wife and I went over there check landscaping rock. I saw the 2 same red dragon still there about they are dying .aks them about it .. they tell me 2 red dragons never sold ..but if I want will be same price 139.99 but they are dying .. specifically the guy he does not know what he talk about even I did some research I can answer better question than him ..during our summer purchase he was confused us 3 times . Can not believe I spend 1.5k over there ... last pictures from yesterday they are dying by top leaf . Rest photos were 1.5 month earlier so beautiful..
