Had brunch here today with my kids and everything was amazing. Our service was excellent and the food was great. Photo is my tuna melt. Kids Mac n cheese is homemade Mac and not the Kraft stuff other places serve. When we left they have all of the kids cookies.

Great all American food and pie! I highly recommend a visit to Polly’s. This restaurant has homemade muffins and they even make Bran muffins taste like a million bucks!! The waitresses are all outstanding & friendly all shapes & sizes; old & young! Try the cod dish on their current seasonal menu for May 2022 ….delicious! For breakfast I enjoy blueberry pancakes (off diet) or my usual Avocado & Egg served on sourdough bread, I add turkey breast for protein because I exclude the egg and change the seasonal fruit cup for country potatoes!! You can’t go wrong with my suggestions and a whole pie to go!! You will be back and a regular customer like me!!! Any questions or problems just talk to Mike and he’s the guy that will make it right!

Ugh. What a sad decline! New decor is not comfortable and the place is now an echo chamber. I heard the conversation behind me better than the one at my own table! The restaurant was only about 1/3 full, so I don't know why they sat us all so close together. The wait staff was ambivalent at best. Every time our waitress came out she'd tackle two (of her 4) tables at once, giving each half the attention needed. Had to ask/remind her about several things. Food arrived fairly quickly (the place was over half empty) and my sandwich was fine but the sweet potato fries were half-cooked and tasted slightly fishy (time to change the oil in the fryer?). I left with my plate half full. Couldn't wait to get out of there - and Polly's used to be a favorite comfort food restaurant for over 40 years (in Orange County too). I'm really sad.

The food was very good. The problem that I only have with the place is that the only thing you get free to drink is water and coffee. They charge you $$$$ for the strawberry lemonade, and I believe and $$$$ per soft drink. So this is not the place to take kids to or like myself an adult. Considering that alcohol is only maybe $$$$ cents more and since I don't drink alcohol it seems like it's cheaper to go somewhere else to drink and eat. Service was outstanding our waitress was on call she took care of everything we had to order and got there fast and hot recommended different things to take with us to have with us to eat and it was greatly appreciated. The white zinfandel they no longer serve. The Rose wine is extremely extremely dry if that's what you like then you'll like it.

What's on your Thanksgiving dinner plate
In house
Don't know. But that sounds like TGIF restaurants.
I didn't notice sugar free or low sugar pies on the menu...
THANKSGIVING DAY- open until 1pm limited breakfast menu served from 7:30am-12:30 pm at all locations except Long Beach (Atlantic), Huntington Beach, and Cerritos.
They have a large variety of pies including a delicious pumpkin pie
Yes, different ones at different times of the year. But very good.
Looking at their schedule, it says holiday hours for the New Year. Since that is the same note for Christmas (today), I would think they will not be open. Call when they are open to confirm.
I don't think they take reservations but you can call ahead and put your name in the waiting list ahead of time before you leave your house.
Yes
Have not tried any pies there. Daily dinner specials are great and corn bread is fresh baked and mouth watering delicious
They are all baked fresh daily.
