Nice place for a nature walk. We found leaf bugs, lizards, & a nice buck. Beach is beautiful, however there were so many jellyfish this time of year we did not hunt for sharks teeth which is the main reason we came here. Fee is $5 and an extra $3 if you are from out of town.

We have been going here for a few years and we really like it. There is a weekend fee, usually not too packed and shark tooth to be found for those who are interested.

This is such a GORGEOUS beach. Easy, short hike, beautiful terrain and lots of cool stuff to look at. We are so looking forward to returning!

We went to the beach, about .8 mile from the parking lot, skipping the trails that branch off to various ponds remote from the beach area, saving those for a return trip after mosquito season. The beach is long and clean and curves around to an area with minimal jellyfish, where we immersed ourselves in the cool Bay water on this hot July day. We scanned for sharks teeth among the plentiful sea shells, shell fragments, and bits of driftwood. We didn’t find any, but it was fun looking.
