My wife and I had a very comfortable stay at The Sandaway. It is an older building, but well maintained. Everything worked. Our room was comfortable. The atmospherics of an older time were very nice. The location at water's edge was great, with wonderful views and nice sunrises and sunsets. The management is super responsive.

Exactly what we expected - older style rooms and a perfect view and location. Great places to get food and coffee and ice cream within an easy walk too.

Covid Review: Highly Recommend!!! Check-in was easy! Every staff (including cleaning lady) wore a mask All the time!! Ice was in separate bags. Beach/Ocean was beautiful! Highly recommend the rooms with a screened in porch. The room was Very clean, towels clean. Enjoyed a soak in the bathtub. Will return and highly recommend to friends/family! To our gratitude, they brought a breakfast basket! Their house coffee ☕️ perfect! Organic milk/juice was a good touch.

We had a wonderful weekend at Sandaway. Everything was extremely clean when we got there (which was important to us with COVID-19). The private beach was gorgeous. The entire weekend was quiet and relaxing. The staff went the extra mile and made sure the breakfast basket included gluten-free items for me! We can’t wait to come back next year.

The sandaway will consider weddings but it has to be a very small and quite ceremony. The owners are pretty strict on maintaining their guests privacy (noise and otherwise). We asked and got denied and ended up getting married next door at the yacht club
