I literally left this place crying. The staff was so mean. My ***passive*** boyfriend even wanted to go back and tell them off, and was thinking he might have had to fight some of the workers. We didn’t get to spend my whole time there. I would’ve asked for some money back, but they have a no refund policy. Also, the arcade and stuff is now closed. Just pretty crummy rides now.

Not bad for what it is. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 kids (10 & 8). We arrived when it opened so no wait for the first go cart track/batting cages. Some of the “adult” tracks we adults were excited for didn’t open for two hour after the location opened. The snack bar was closed as well and there were not a lot of options for drinks in the vending machines on a sweltering hot/humid day. Quite a few go carts, all on different tracks, you could see kept stalling. My suggestion is to look to see what other reviewers have to say here and look at other similar companies.

My experience at Grand Prix Amusements was interesting to say the least. As I was registering to race, one of the workers, Shawn, approaches me and tells me that because my hair is long, I won’t be able to race. He explained that my hair could get caught on something and I could potentially be scalped. When I asked if I could secure my hair with a head tie, he said no because they take no risks with safety precautions. This was completely understandable at first. It’s important to note that my hair is in knotless braids and goes down to my lower back. I can safely secure it in a multitude of ways. However I was told that because of this I could not race. The other people in my party could race, so I got a chance to read the rules on hair which state: “long hair must be tied above the shoulder & tucked into the head sock.” Another rule states: “driver assumes all responsibility and liability for his/her actions while participating. Including damage to equipment and injury of other patrons.” So to my understanding I should have been able to race as long as my hair could be safely tied and tucked into the helmet. Especially given that another young lady with straight European hair that came down to the middle of her back was allowed to race without having to put her hair up or tuck it into the head sock of the helmet. Not to mention that in case of injury I would assume responsibility, according to the rules which participants acknowledge and agree to before racing. So I did not race. And I did not enjoy my experience or treatment. I also didn’t enjoy witnessing Shawn make an exception for the other lady with long hair immediately after informing me otherwise. I don’t think this takes away from the experience at this establishment. However I was not even granted the opportunity to experience, hence my rating and review.

Had a great time with $5 go kart rides with our kids. The staff was great, karts were the perfect speed to not have to slow down around curves 😄 The bathroom had a changing table, which I always appreciate. My only complaint is the bumper cars--they do a "chaos mode" where you can't stop them from either spinning or suddenly going in reverse. My 7 year old ended up getting bumped into a wall and her head slammed against the seat pretty hard (the cushioned headrest is up at an adult level ... The rest of the seat back is a hard plastic). They can attach a seat for a younger child to be a passenger but there's only a lap belt, so my 4 year old had to hold on to her dad's knees to not get thrown side to side too hard.

Grand Prix go carts are 100% the best in the area. The Pro Circuit track is a bit pricey, $22 per race which is 6 mins. Addicting though 😀. The regular go carts in the way back are just as good and fast, pretty big track as well. The cost of those and all the other tracks are $5 on Friday. Any other day is 6 tickets for $40, 10 for $60 and like 30 for $120 range. Was there last week and not sure I seen the wrist band. Give them a call. Awesome tracks and plan to go again next year!
Yes, $1 Off Track Ticket, $1 Off 6 Pack, $2 Off 10 pack, $3 off 20 pack and $4 Off Wristband
I haven't been there this year, but last year was 38$ per person for 2 hours.
yes our batting cages range from slow pitch soft ball to very fast baseball
I paid $42.95 for the 2 hour unlimited go kart package. They have other activities as well. Check out their website www.grandprixoc.com
I doubt it. These cars are fast with very sharp corners.
Took my grandaughter there last year, a later than normal ride. When we got there it was a one price admission all rides, as often as you want. To the best of my recollection, it was about $25-$30 dollars. She enjoyed herself, especially the race cars, think we did each one 3 times each.
