I have to agree with some of the reviewers that this place is so well kept! A real Hidden gem in the area! The owner took great care of this camp ground and very personable! As a family with small children we feel safe and comfortable to run around! Will definitely revisit!

We really enjoyed this campground with our 2 toddlers. The pirate ship and castle playground was unique and loved by the children. The creek access was perfect and refreshing. I would definitely recommend this gem.

I would give Spruce Creek Campgtound a 10. The full hookup sites are huge and level. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The owner works hard at keeping the grounds immaculate. Best campground in the area. We will be back. Micky and Sally Olsen Jacksonville, Fl

Very clean campground, extremely well maintained. The owner will bring you directly to your site and make sure everything is working properly and even help you back up if needed. My wife and I had two vehicles here which one was parked on the grass. The owner did come ask us very politely to move the cars off the grass and to move our rug that we had out. This was a minor inconvenience, but if you look at the effort the owner puts into maintaining this campground and keeping it beautiful, I completely understood. He even allowed me to park one vehicle on an empty site right next to us. I am not sure how people can complain about an owner wanting to upkeep the property to make it just as nice for the next camper coming in. The play ground was in great conditions, weeds were a little tall but in a year that we have had ungodly amounts of rain it is impossible to keep up with everything. Overall, we had a great stay and it is a beautiful campground. We will definitely be back next year. After reading some of the complaints on here, some people just don't understand what rain can do to a dirt road or that it is appropriate to follow rules set in place.
