Food was good. Some dishes were far better than others. The service was very friendly but not great. They seemed very understaffed. A couple of our dishes came out cold and one order was forgotten. We had ordered several appetizers that didn't come out until after we were done with our meal. It was a nice atmosphere and the waiter did the best he could but it seemed more like they had just opened for the first time, as opposed to being an established restaurant in the area.

WARNING: They have really changed the menu and the prices are up and staff is down. That said the staff is doing the best they can with what they've got and the parking lot patio is still great. Just be aware going in that this is not the place you will remember. Luciano is a real loss. Will be back, the just not as much as before, probably. Which will be fine-if you're in town as a tourist this will be a great place for you for dinner. Or if you're part of the "let's make Laguna Santa Monica" set. Recommend the lobster ravioli but wish it were plated on a plate instead of in a bowl. Also having something to sop up the delicious sauce would be nice. It's $8 for bread to do that with so be prepared.

We went there for valentines and it was lovely. They have a nice patio with a peaceful view of ocean sunset! For sure you can find other restaurants with better view but everything here was good. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. Good red wines. And good foods. We ordered fettuccine with shrimp and chicken. It is not really fancy restaurant but fir what you pay it was good. I definitely recommend it. For two with two glass of wine and 20% tip, 95 bucks!

The Oceanview outdoor dining experience was so fun at this restaurant. My client chose to come here to celebrate The purchase of his new home. He has been friends with the owner for 30 years he says. I had delicious homemade ravioli from them. So rich and creamy! The bread with oil and balsamic was wonderful as well.
