Store is actually open when it says it will be open. (because today, this gets bonus points with any business.) Amidst a terrble inflationary period, SAVE-A-LOT appears committed to keeping pricing as manageable as possible all things considered. Their food is quality without as much "down-weighting" as other food-groups are doing, and price-gauging is not prevalent. Five stars becomes attainable through the fun employees here who seem well versed on stress-handling technique... EVEN conveying the idea to customers... which is innovative, remarkable, and frankly... NEEDED today. In a world where I can't afford therapy, there is something to be said for the cashier with a cool disposition and the reminder: everything is gonna be okay. No need to stress. The idea is maybe exclusive to this exact business location... but needs to be adopted universally across our community and culture. Location is clean, well-maintained, and provides inside security much of the time. Would appreciate pricing on clearance items. (That is the only constructive criticism I can find, and it took much thought to squeeze that out... does not take away from the well deserved 5-stars.)

Change your store hours online if you’re going to close at 8:30pm instead of 10pm. Thanks.

They are my neighborhood store. Even with all the shortages in products and the staffing issues, they still are there for us keeping the store shelves stocked and checking us out as fast as they can. One question, why are bags free at the Arnold and stores outside of the St. Louis City/County area at the other Save ALot stores...it's the same company with corporate offices in St. Ann, Missouri which is St. Louis County? Our communities should not be treated any different based upon the color of the majority shoppers skin. Your prices are not lower than your competitors...you are in our communities...give back to those that patronize your establishment. I can go elsewhere, but I choose to keep giving my money to those stores in my communities.

The store does not carry all grocery choices. It's good for basic items but the selections are not good. Since my last visit, prices have really changed. They are so much higher. I see why the store was almost empty. The third day of the month is so crowded everywhere else.
