Great people who are warm and inviting with a beutiful little temple. Delious food which is served at differnt times throughout the week. A first class gift shop with lots of clothing appeal and other cool stuff strait from India and they keep regular business hours. The vibes are nice and you'll leave uplifted.

Hare Krsna! Thank you very much for your question. I speak Spanish, but not fluently. I do not know devotees in Chula Vista who speak Spanish. There are devotees to the temple in PB who speak fluently. Also, there is a temple in Tijuana. Please forgive my bad Spanish.
I will check and update you
Janmashtami is the main festival and the temple remains open till midnight on that day. They provide prasadam that is made at the temple ( you can offer donations at the temple and there is a gift shop there)

Well, it's more like the other way around; that's where George Harrison got the inspiration from. He had much interaction with the leader, Bhaktivedanta Swami, of the Hare Krishna movement, as well as some of the followers.
I used to live down the street from Govinda's in North Park, San Diego in the early 80's. My wife and I would frequent their vegetarian buffet and enjoy the food that was prepared there in devotion to Krishna. If it wasn't officially owned by the official organization, it was very certainly wholly dedicated to Krishna with lots of heart! 🙏💙
Yes, devotees from North County come to this temple. We also have home programs in North County.
