I had eyebrows done before but nothing like the experience I had at Skin and Tonique with Kelly. Kelly is a professional and knows this skill. She answered all my questions and her confidence assured me I was in good hands. Kelly was very gentle during the procedure . I hardly felt anything as she worked in my brows. My brows looked amazing when she finished. I was completely satisfied. Kelly ! Your the best.

Kelly was extremely meticulous in the initial step of shaping my brows. She took her time and did it right and made sure I was satisfied before she did anything permanent. She knows what she is doing and listens to clients.

Kelly was absolutely amazing. 10/10. So professional, kind and caring. A true expert in her field. I was impressed from the very beginning. Absolutely no pain during the process and no pain afterwards either. I’m getting ready for my touchup and I absolutely love my brows. Highly recommend this place!

So to start it out I researched many other places before I chose to come to Skin and Tonique! I made my decision on how clean the shop was presented and her reviews are phenomenal!! When I got there I was getting my permanent eyeliner done and I was obviously nervous on the pain but Kelly numbs you all up and I hardly felt a thing!! I was shocked! She uses top quality product, and she has outstanding customer service!! I would definitely recommend her if you would like permanent eyeliner because I am obsessed with mine!! Skin and Tonique also has many other specialties that you should definitely check out for all your skin care needs!! Thank you for your time on reading this and I wish you the best with your experience, you won't regret it!!

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

Make sure not to get them wet for the first 24-48 hours. This includes steam, tears, showering, swimming, and eye makeup remover. Do not use any oil based products on your lashes Do not touch, play with, or pick at your lashes. Do not use a lash curler on them. Try not to sleep on your side or stomach.

FAQ: How long do eyelash extensions last?

Lash extensions will last 2-4 weeks, depending on several variables including your natural lash growth cycle; if your hair grows fast, then so will your extensions, and fills will be needed more often.

FAQ: How long does it take to apply lash extensions?

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020
Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

The lash extension application can take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours, depending on the fullness of your natural lashes. The normal human eye has 150-200 lashes per eye. Volume lashes take twice as long to apply the lashes. The more lashes that you have, the more extensions we can apply! This is a meticulous procedure that requires patience and concentration. Therefore, it is important not to rush the process so that you can leave with a perfect set of lashes! You will be relaxing with your eyes closed, and you will feel no pain as this is a non-invasive procedure. Many of our clients are so relaxed that they often fall asleep! FAQ: What are eyelash extensions?

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020
Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes of different lengths, curls and weight (thickness) cut in the shape of a natural lash and applied one-by-one to each individual natural lash as an ‘extension’ of your natural lash. Lash extensions are not strip lashes, clusters or flares. Lash extensions are meant to lengthen, thicken and enhance the natural lash line without causing any pain, discomfort or lash loss when applied properly. Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and the touch up, your results should last between 2-5 years. Additional touch ups may be required depending on the person and look desired. To ensure the best retention of color, it is advisable to exfoliate the lips during the week prior to procedure by using a soft toothbrush, a washcloth or wet paper towel. After exfoliating, apply Vaseline or a lip moisturizer to lips. Do not wax above lips or use any bleaching products within a week of procedure. FAQ: What is Lip Blush Tattoo?

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020
Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

A lip blush tattoo is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improves the shape of the lips, and gives definition and the illusion of fullness. Lip Blush is great for anyone who desires a more defined or symmetrical shape for their lips. We will create the perfect color to suit your style and skin tone. Our method of shading and blending will bring youth and definition to your lips, while also creating a plumper appearance. Lip Blush gives your lips 30% more volume that will last, unlike fillers. It is an extremely popular semi-permanent make up treatment providing a flush of color as well as defining the lip contours. It is a very effective way of dressing the lips as naturally pale lips can instantly be given a dramatic new appearance.

FAQ: Is microblading permanent?

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020
Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

While microblading is commonly referred to as "permanent makeup" it is not entirely permanent. Microblading does not go as deep into the skin as a traditional tattoo, and will beging to fade over time, based on your skin type and age. I recommend an Annual Color Boost every 12-18 months, although some microblading lasts up to 3 years before a touch-up is needed.

FAQ: What is the microblading healing process like?

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020
Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

The initial healing process takes 10-14 days. During this time your new brows will go through several stages. At first, they will look very dark. Between day 2-4 they will look very dark and thick. Between day 5-10 they will start scabbing and flaking off. Day 8-10 they will look light and uneven. After 10-14 days they will look much better, with maybe a few spots that need to be touched up. This is why every microblading appointment at Skin and Tonique includes a free 6-8 week touch-up appointment so we can make sure your brows are perfect!

FAQ: How long does a microblading procedure take?

Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020
Skin and Tonique | Aug 23, 2020

We ask our microblading clients to plan for 3 hours. The first hour or so is mapping out the brows and letting the numbing cream take effect. The actual micorblading procedure itself normally takes about an hour to an hour and a half. In less than a morning or afternoon, you will have beautiful new brows!
