Same situation/review as most in regard to this urgent care. Absolute price gouging. My son had to get a Tdap (tetanus) shot for an emt course he is taking. Nothing more than that. It was a simple tetanus shot. It cost $500. Ridiculous!! Whoever is running this show should be ashamed of themselves.

Wasn’t feeling good and I just called the clinic and they were very helpful and they take a good care for me and even I mention that I don’t have insurance they offer me a very good rate and they treated me very good . I’m so glad that I find them and definitely I recommend them for anyone who need urgent help . Thanks again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I had a really bad case of hives due to a excessive reaction to poison oak and was concerned I would be stuck in an ER waiting room for hours - COVID was at its worst during this time. I called several places that told me first come first serve - and I envisioned a terrible night ahead trying to get a shot and meds. Urgent Care La Jolla to the rescue - I told them when I would arrive - they were waiting at the door, unlocked it and got me right in to see the doctor. The staff was wonderful and the doctor knew exactly what the issue was, and had me feeling better and set up for recovery in less than an hour. It was a nice change to have a doctor who was able to get me right in and after a few questions and quick exam knew exactly what was going on and what to do. I wish I lived closer - I would go there for everything. I am not sure what happened with others - but my experience was caring staff and very knowledgeable doctor. Wish there were more places like this.

just terrible customer service. they do not care to talk to you if you ask them anything about insurance, I was put on a long hold after asking if they accept my insurance. I called back & the phone was immediately answered by the same guy who sounded clearly annoyed that I called back for the answer. He KNEW the answer to the question BEFORE putting me on hold too, he didn’t have to ask anyone near him because he knows he was hired into a private office, unless he’s that incompetent to not know any details about his job that he’s answering the phone for.

Beware! I was quoted $399 by a patient coordinator yet charged $450 by another when my daughter called in. She didn't realize the difference and was told there were no refunds when she tried to cancel and/or get a partial or full refund.
I did not see a way to do that. All was done by phone, which is how we were quoted 2 different prices and charged the higher amount. Red flags everywhere.
