My father has continuously been billed a monthly charge for a medical bed he received almost two years ago. The statement only indicates the amount due, with no mention of an overall account balance remaining. I have spoken to numerous representatives over the phone, most of them outsourced and difficult to communicate with. I have written letters to their corporate office in Lake Forest, California, with no response ever received. I cannot get a straight answer from anyone what these charges are for. I believe this company is taking advantage of my father and collecting whatever they can for as long as they can. I stopped my father from sending any more payments until we get a satisfactory response from Apria, regardless of whatever collection threats they make.

Really, seriously stay away from this company. There are plenty of other medical supply companies out there that will serve you better. Unfortunately my doctor said I had to use Apria and its been a nightmare, no surprise there. I used them in the past and had similar bad experiences, and I have tried to stay away. As I said I had to use them again and having similar billing issues, charges they cant explain, what appears to be over billing and so on. I just tried to call the billing department to understand the latest bill since the amount arrived with absolutely no explanation of what the charge is for and I was on hold forever. When their representative tried to explain and I told them they have the wrong information and should not be billing me, somehow the call just disconnected. Clearly the representative didn't have good way to explain the bill and just decided to end the call. Important note their billing is designed to confuse you as the consumer. You get statements of balances but never get the actual "invoices" or full explanation of what is being billed. Its the craziest thing. I strong recommend avoiding this company. Read the reviews there is a reason they are so poorly rated here on Google and Yelp.

They call me at 6am repeatedly. I asked for them to mail a bill to my home but they only want credit card info over phone. Can't log in without account info. They won't mail it to me. They are my nightmare. Somehow my Dr. only knows how to prescribe through Apria. Horrible company to deal with an fake review site they must have set up themselves.

This has got to be the very worst provider of Healthcare equipment in the entire USA. They have the audacity to pick up a piece of their equipment from my dying hospice husband at 9 30pm. I have been calling them constantly and waiting for their service people all day long. Their automatic phone system needs a complete overhaul. Nothing works. I will Never deal these people again. Their business licence needs to be revoked. Run don't walk away from them and give your hard earned money to a Company that will deserve it.
