Nice short hike, I have 2 dogs and clean up after them. Please people don't be lazy and dirty pick up after your animals. Disgusting. It just shows the kind of crowd that visit here. I'll limit my visits to this place.

Favorite floral hiking trails of this spring! It is quiet and cool loop of 2.5 miles, beautiful at ant time of the day.

Nice. Wide trail. Pleasant place to walk. No shade, open space. Go early or later if it's hot

Moderate hiking trail in Chino Hills with some steep climbs. Came here on a Saturday around 10am and it was already pretty hot (gotta love SoCal summers). The trail is exposed and there’s minimal shade so wear sunblock and bring a lot of water. There were some cyclists but the majority of people we saw were hikers. I’d suggest wearing hiking books since some parts of the trail were a bit slippery, but you could get by with sneakers. Parking is available at the park and you can take the trailhead underneath an overpass which branches out in a couple of different directions. Bathrooms are available at the park, not along the trail. There were two or three benches at certain points in the trail but only one was underneath a tree with shade. You do need to cross the street at one point in the trail if you want to continue onward and make it a loop. Otherwise, it can easily be made into an out and back.

Trail is maintained, can't even see the fire damage no more, now its spring time but during afternoon it gets all the sun and its hot so bring at least 1-2 water bottles, and in evening it is cool but windy. No more red deterrent on trail. it is 2.1 miles for loop but if you take side dead end trail its an additional .5 or if you take house trail it's an additional .8 one way
I use this trail everyday, I have never seen homeless on it as it is steep trail.
There is street parking
About 3.5 miles for the complete loop. If take the shortcut back, it's about 3 miles.
