What a beautiful place to visit and get close to Nature!

It got 4 stars because it is a free local trail that is a good distance. There are markings of color on trees throughout the trail but no map or legend as to what these colors mean and how long the trails are. We hiked/walked for about 2 hours and memory got us back to the car. It's beautiful and very natural regarding sounds from the highway are a faint part of the experience. There's several planted plants that are marked for the botanist type. We'll go again since it's so close to town. It is at the end of the Agricultural center for Monroe. Lots of woods to experience. Bring water.

Good morning, This is the Events Center for the Union County Agricultural Building. If you can contact the Cooperative Extension office, they will be glad to assist you with your concerns about your pond. They can be reached at 704-283-3801. I hope this helps!
