I went in today (07/11/2021) with my sister and daughter. My sister and I made a Bee line for the front counter (jewelry!) and were looking to see what we wanted to get ourselves. We waited to ask the clerk to see a few things. She explained to us that she couldn’t pull full displays (rings/ earrings/ necklaces, etc) out, and rather had to do them one at a time. My sister asked for her things, and in between ringing up other customers, she would help us. The “door” to the case was a painting. As she was ringing up the other customer, she was too close to the painting and knocked a few perfume bottles and other things In the display case over. She finished ringing up the customer and bent down to pick up what had been knocked over. I thought perhaps she hadn’t seen all of the items knocked over, so I bent down, pointed, and said, “oh there are a few more things down here.” She immediately snapped her head up and said, “I KNOW!! THERE IS QUITE A LINE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!” My sister and I turned and looked at each other, completely dumbfounded! My sister made a comment, “I’m sorry- my sister was just trying to help!” Again, the clerk piped up and said, “YES, I KNOW!” At that point, neither one of us knew what to say or how to handle her. My sister said, “I’m sorry- what’s your name?” The clerk replied, “‘my name is Evelyn and I’m the assistant manager!” At that point, I walked away in disgust at the attitude of the “Assistant manager.” I contemplated whether or not to continue shopping, but ended up getting a few things. When we were walking up to pay, we spotted Evelyn at the front, speaking with 2 of her coworkers, talking about the customer who asked what her name was “and I responded my name is Evelyn and I’m the assistant manager!” She giggled but then saw we were there, became awfully embarrassed, and stammered off. The only redeeming grace was a different associate, named Noah who listened to my sister tell her side of the story and then apologized for his terribly unprofessional assistant manager. I’m disappointed and most likely won’t go back.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they can be seen restocking and tidying up as you shop. And, best of all, they support the Boys' and Girls' Club.
