Ambience was great and overall food was very good! My only knock was shrimp was a little overcooked and my husband thought his veal marsala could've used a touch more salt. I would definitely recommend and we were happy we chose Tarantelli's to celebrate our 10th anniversary 😊

Primo homemade Italian meals. Plenty of seating on the ground floor with just the right amount of lighting. There were also a few seats available on the front side patio. I couldn't help but notice how pristine the interior brick walls were. Our server Michael was attentive and recommended a similar meal off the menu he had eaten a day or so earlier: Pappardelle Al Funghi Porcini E Panna. Delicious multi- mushroom, homemade pappardelle pasta in a light cream sauce - so good! The portion was large enough to have some leftover for the next day. The second meal we chose was the Filetto Di Bue Alla Da Vinci. I have avoided red meat for years but recently decided to go back to it under two caveats: the beef must have been grass fed and the cut of meet must be superb. Well, this menu option seemed to "fit the bill": grass fed, Wagyu-aged Filet Mignon. During the first cut with the knife, I thought to myself, "this seems tougher than I would have thought". However, that first bite confirmed I had made the right decision. The filet was dense, perfectly textured, and perhaps the most tender piece of meat I'd ever eaten. Looking back, I believe the knife may have been unusually dull. Next time, I will opt for the melted gorgonzola. For dessert, we chose the tiramisu. Tiramisu is usually not my first dessert choice as I prefer something chocolaty. The chocolate cake option seemed like it would be too much considering I barely left enough room for dessert. Michael sold us on the tiramisu as being on the lighter side. Thank goodness he brought out 2 Forks! Again, the portion was large, the cake very moist, and enough chocolate to satisfy my chocolate sweet tooth. A truly special dining experience. Thank you!

had a very lovely time at my dinner last night. Caitlin was our server and she was great, Riley with the white sweater at the host stand was extremely accommodating. I didn’t know I booked a table outside and she fit us in to dine indoors and we really appreciated it. Great wine!

Excellent food but service needs a bit of improving. You may be wondering why I would say the food was excellent but only gave it 3 stars. I have been to this particular restaurant in the past and have always enjoyed my visit. On this occasion it was a bit different. We arrived at the restaurant about 5:20 PM, knowing that the restaurant opens at 5:00 PM. It was a Wednesday evening and we asked for a table for 3 people. Did not think of a reservation because of the early dining and it was a Wednesday evening and no special events were going on in the area. The hostess stated that she would have to get our table ready. After a wait of more than 10 minutes, we were seated at our table. At first we thought the long wait was due to COVID and that they were spacing out all of the diners. That was not true because there were only three other tables seated when we entered the dining area and we were placed at a table right next to another couple. When the couple finished their dinner another group of three were seated in their place. Then we thought that maybe a large group was coming into the restaurant. Our dining time was just over an hour. During this time, the table next to us was seated and two other tables of about 6 people were seated. There definitely needs to be some improvement on how people are seated at this restaurant. My picture shows how empty this restaurant was when we completed our dining. Anyway onto the food, which was prepared and tasted great. Our dinners were hot and full of flavor. It seemed a little unusual that we weren't offered any grated cheese for our meals but to be honest the dishes did not need any additional flavor. My photos show how well the dinners were prepared. I still recommend this restaurant for their food. Just be prepared to have a wait before seating.
