We are from out of town and my 14yo son was bit by a bee on his foot at the beach in San Diego. I talked to the hotel front desk and they recommended Pacific Urgent Care. I called and they were so helpful - gave me an appt right away & assisted with directions & parking. Took my son there, and we were seen promptly by Dr Lantos. He was very kind, patient, helpful & knowledgeable. Wrote us a docs note in case we needed a wheelchair at the airport, and followed up over the next several days. I had some addl questions and he was very prompt in responding. This was by far the best customer service I have ever received! Thank you Dr Lantos & staff!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Pacific Wellness Center...they are absolutely amazing! I have been there more times than I'd like to admit, and have continued to make the 20 minute drive there even after moving out of Pacific Beach. My mom even made a trip here when she was visiting and fell and ended up needing stitches...she still talks about how great their care was to this day! The staff is kind, patient, and extremely helpful, and they provide wonderful care as well as any necessary doctor referrals. THANK YOU Pacific Wellness!!!!!!

I've come here for a few years and honestly I don't know why I continued to go. Maybe it was just convenience. The girls at the front desk always make mistakes and try to charge me more for my co-pay. I've had it happened multiple times and then they correct it. My most recent visit, I had called in advance to confirm my co-pay and they told me my co-pay was $25 which was correct. After my appointment, I get a bill in the mail saying I owed another $25. I called them on the phone and they said they are not allowed to bill as a specialist which would be $50 but when I called my insurance the company said that's exactly what they did. Their contract with my insurance company shows them as a specialist and they would have to call to change this. I had called the doctor's office and left a voicemail but they never got back to me. Weeks went by and then I called again and the girl at the front desk was no help and refused to call. She wouldn't even listen to me. She just kept talking over me. I ended up paying the $25 and will never come back here. It's really not just the $25 it's more of the customer service. UPDATE: In response to your response. The receptionist refused to give any alternative. She basically said that’s it and there’s nothing we can do. Now you’re saying you guys contacted my insurance company when that is all I wanted all along but nobody was willing to take the extra step until I had to make a review. How about that huh?

Not all of us want to have a virtual visit with our doctors. Dr Moore is exactly what I want my doctor to be . He is kind ,he listens and he takes into consideration my opinion . And he’s a really great doctor. I’ve known Dr Moore for years and he hasn’t changed ,he would give you the shirt off his back without blinking and and he treats everyone the same. With kindness and care. My suggestion is if you have a billing problem call the office. The one thing I do know about Joe and his staff they are looking out for your best interest and they don’t have a Chrystal ball .

Jamie—we apologize for the long wait times. We have been inundated with calls due to the approaching holiday and so many people wanting to be tested. Our staff is doing the very best they can to answer all the calls. One thing that would help speed things up is if all callers would review our testing options online (pacificucwc.com) so we don’t need to repeat information that is readily available and can more quickly determine which test is needed/desired.
