They don't seem to be answering they're phone. I think they will call you when it does arrive, otherwise you'll probably have to go in. I know there's a backlog for firearms.

They're not answering phone calls because of the high volume. Everyone's calling for ammo, firearms, etc. They would have to hire someone to just answer the phone all day. I just went in last Wednesday after calling for 2 days. Firearms and ammo have a really long wait.

Sorry we do not accept any ammunition. Usually your local law enforcement agency is able to accept ammo for disposal. I would contact them first to see.

Don't worry I can gurantee that Turner's has never once sold an assault weapon... Dicks sporting goods will be closing their doors permanently soon, also don't worry. You are not knowledgable on the subject so allow me to inform you that as a Californian you needn't worry about the rights granted to you under the second amendment, your legislators decided to quietly remove such rights years ago on your behalf, so lucky you I suppose. Current legislation being proposed regarding semi automatic firearms (which I assume you actually refer to)will only match if even that, legislation that California has long since enacted. Turners Outdoorsman is a resource to the Southern California community, they provide fishing, hunting, camping, and archery supplies, as well as firearms. While every other store closes its doors, Turner's is growing, because of their commitment to the communities they reside, their un-matched staff, and great prices. I bid you good day, Ma'am.

They have some outdoor gear, mostly from 5.11 Tactical. Quality stuff, but maybe better selection at Big 5.

You need your Driver's License, and if you own a vehicle, bring also your registration. Both have to be from same state. Both have to have the same residence address. No P.O. Box. You will need to take a simple test on firearms basic knowledge and common sense. I suggest you browse first and ask all the questions there.
