Cash America is one the worst and most inconsistent pawn shops in Greensboro. The store associates give you the run around whenever you come in to pawn or sell an item (one day they say they will accept an item, then when you get there they say they aren’t accepting said item). The associates also seem to be overly selective with who they choose to do business with, even if it is a profitable item you are looking to sell or pawn. They use the “we have enough of that in our inventory” excuse quite often with certain people, I’ve noticed. If you are looking for a reasonable pawn shop in the Greensboro area to sell/pawn items, I highly recommend National Pawn and Jewelry on Battleground Ave. The associates there are way more friendly and willing to work with you. Even if you have an item that they may have “too much of” in their inventory, they will still work with you and give you a reasonable amount of money. Cash America Pawn is a joke.

My husband and I have been coming here for a year. I used to love this place but recently there has been only two associates here and they are jammed packed. We waited an hour and a half just to look at some jewelry.. when I asked the customer service rep where is everyone he said that two people just quit and that the store manager is lazy and never there or in the bathroom all the time which is true because every time I came in it was either the nice Hispanic assistant or the white boy who was very helpful by the way I’m not sure if he was a manager but the store manager was never to be seen in his own store and he couldn’t agree more they need to hire more people and get rid of the manager. It’s horrible when you go to a store and wait that long for help! Unbelievable time to look for a new pawnshop cos you’ll wait hours here I don’t blame the employees just poor management
