This morning my family and I made the trip down to San Marcos from Los Angeles, two hours prior to our arrival I made a call to the restaurant and asked of we could be placed on the wait list ahead of time or reserve seating for the time we would arrive which would be 11am I was told they don't normally make those accommodations and only add parties to wait lists until they're all there, but that they would make an exception since we were a party of 13 and were making the long drive as we were on a tight schedule and had to be somewhere else by 1pm. As we arrived at 11am on the dot I was told they would seat us shortly that they just had to arrange the tables so we waited for 30 minutes and saw other large parties were getting seated before us so we proceeded to ask if we would be seated soon they gave us an excuse that a large party was taking a long time to leave when we clearly saw them get seated about 20 minutes after we arrived. We proceeded to wait another 15 minutes and even informed the hostess that we would be open to sit at separate tables if that would get us seated faster, by 11:55 we had children in our party crying that they were hungry and seeing we were running short on time we decided to leave. I understand weekends are extremely busy and hard to get people seated, but I think customers always deserve honesty they should've been honest with us from the moment we arrived and let us know it was extremely busy and that they would not be able to sit us right away instead of having us waste our time.

The spicy vegan bowl was good. And I even had some meat eating onlookers ask about my meal, and be surprised it was vegan. Yes, it is completely meat free.

My friends and I come to this place a lot when we get together and the food has been great every time, the portions are filling, and they make sure your drinks are always full. After 10 there is usually a waiting time so if you get there before you’ll probably be seated fairly quickly. The servers are awesome and they check often to make sure everything’s going well.

I came here with a friend, she mentioned about this place and I have heard of it once from my roommate. We came around 1 PM. I'll start with the reviews of what I have thought of this place. The cleanliness of this place is really nice and clean, they really took care of it. Including the restroom, they smelled nice, they had this such nice aroma scent in there. As for the tables seating option, they had plenty, you can choose anywhere. Keep in mind, it was on a Thursday, around noon, so there wasn't a lot of people. I saw a few until we were almost done, we became the only people there. I felt like we were in the apocalypse lol. The foods there are really nice, not a lot of selections but they were enough. I ordered a bacon sandwich with sweet potato fries, simple lunch. they tasted really good. The waitress, she was really nice, although she should have been a bit sensitive to me because I'm Deaf. She kept talking to me like I'm hearing which I find a bit annoying. The price there is affordable, some of them are really pricey but it's really affordable. The place is really clean, it's really family friendly oriented establishment. if you're looking to get in for a nice quiet, this would be for you.
