I am only giving it a 4 because it is totally flat otherwise it is a well maintained path consisting of mainly compacted sand & gravel and surrounded by the canal, the river, the trees and in certain areas people's properties. The parking lot has a decent amount of spaces including reserved spots for the handicapped. This trail is also handicap accessible, might be a bit bumpy if in a wheelchair but it is possible.

Nice little place to park and hike on the tow path. One of our favorite spots.
