The best Indian food in LA! Exploding flavors in the eggplant and butter chicken. Also best naan. Always coming back.

We came, we ate, and then we digested. I like the atmosphere of this place. Somewhat like a cafeteria or a banquet hall kind of mixed together. Overall I'm not certain that the look was opulent more than just tidy and clean like a hospital would be. And the boy who helped service the table was exceptionally good looking and will likely be a hit with the ladies when the time comes. Youth is so complex a scenario to be in...so confident and certain of their thoughts and ideas...only they will turn out to be wrong if he was neglected as a youth...like I was. His future seems bright, and mine seems unpleasant and lonely. But really this restaurant is great please come and give it a shot and even has seaside seating which is kind of neat if you can actually find it nowadays. In this case the food rocks and the scenery rolls...

Location is a little wierd to find (downstairs in the back) but worth the walk. The patio is of course a great outdoor setting but the dining room has its own attraction. The food was a mix for me. I usually start at the lowest level of heat at any new Indian restaurant, but this one was a little low even so. Still with maybe a medium heat this meal would have be great. I always suggest trying 2 of your staples and then something unique from the menu. I am normally pleasantly surprised. Really looking forward to the brunch reopening but until then I have a few dishes I would like to try. Cost is a little high for the amount so sampling is costly. Still we were not able to finish everything and enjoyed what we had. One other thing, the naan was not what I am used to. Not bad , just not the same as other versions I've had. Now to head there for dinner and see how that changes the experience.

Canal dining complemented with excellent spices, fresh mint, perfect heat and generous portions. The service lacks, so be patient and enjoy the food!

They are indeed open for eat-in. I suggest calling them for their reservation policy.
No idea and the website doesn't say, it would probably be best to call.
