We went there Redwood Grove in the Sunday early morning. The trail was easy and most of the times it was plain flat land. There are some black stink beetles and fire ants. While we were hiking, the smell of animal urine?, we weren't sure, some kind of weird smell was very uncomfortable. However, It's easy to see cute rabbits and squirrels on the way. The Red wood grove was great. we could smell of the forest as we get near by the red wood. Some parts of the grove is in the construction but they have designated photogenic area. :)

A very nice park with a nice lake, playground for little ones, trails for bikes, walking, jogging, not far from the freeway, a nice hidden location that you wouldn't think its here, it cost $3 on weekdays, and $5 on weekends, well worth it, even has tennis courts

Interesting park in Brea, near Chino Hills. Part of the park is the typical neighborhood park with kids swing, slides, and overwatered lawns. Part of the park has a very nice native garden, well tended, labelled, and comprehensive. Yet another part has, to my knowledge the only coastal Redwoods grove in Southern California. Well worth the trek in the hot Sun, to feel to cool sombering peace of the Red giants. The park is also the western gateway into Chino Hills State Park, well worth exploring in the Spring with full wildflower bloom to re-inforce the names from the native garden. 😉

Lovely park there is an artificial lake that is stocked for fishing, a nice playground, tennis courts and short trails. The area is slowly healing from the fires but still looks beautiful. The main attraction is the redwood grove they have two trails to get there one is shorter. Definitely worth the walk.

Yes you can fish there, in the front of the park is a Ranger office. You can ask them what's required to fish there. They have a cool little dock you can use as well.
Bummer, no answers. I don't know?
there is a warning sign to be aware of mountain lions on the trails to the rear of the parkland.
Im not sure about the types of fish but im sure you can fish from the shoreline
Yes!! Hahahaha
We have a yearly pass so can go to all of the parks, saves lots of cash. Maybe $150 a year.
You only have to pay for parking but if you go to park across the street and walk in it's free!:)
