I brought my 11 week old kitten in to them. The tech was amazing he was the perfect mix of funny to calm my nerves and professional so I knew he was serious. I was asked multiple times if I had any questions and they even provided a packet with all sorts of hand outs to help me as a new pet owner. The doctor was just as kind and thoughtfull and offered tests I wouldn't have thought of just to check all their bases. They also explained what everything that they were prescribing for her, what it was and how to use it. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience at a vet. Will definitely continue bringing my baby in to them.

Unless you have money to burn this vet isn’t for you. For the follow up leptospirosis vaccine today they charged $24 for each of my 3 dogs plus another $17 for each dog for a technician fee for a very inexperienced tech. Thats $123 for booster shots.🥵 The tech spent 4-5 minutes with each dog but she used a scale that was inaccurate, she told me my dogs lost about 40% body weight from the last appointment a month ago. When I told her that isn’t possible she said she weighed my smallest dog, Peanut, twice. You can weigh her 50x but if its on the same inaccurate scale you will get 50 wrong measurements. As I was questioning the front desk how they can justify $123 for their follow up boosters when my 3 pups initial wellness exam, rabies and first lepto vaccine here were only $224. I explained my previous vet only charged for the booster shot since it is a quick in and out visit and how do you justify $51 for a technician fee that took 12 minutes of her time? One can rest assured she isn’t getting paid $51 dollars an hour, much less $51 for 12-14 minutes of her time. The rude front desk associate asked where my previous vet was, and I replied Wisconsin. Her sarcastic response was “your not in Wisconsin anymore”. Wow, the other reviews about rude front desk staff were SPOT ON! So essentially I paid a tech $4 a minute to give a shot plus the cost of the vaccine, nice highway robbery right here in Rathdrum.

My mother recently took her 5 year old dog for a dental….Dr Sherman has taken care of the dog, this time it was Dr Kramer. My mom was quoted $200 for a dental cleaning plus any fees for extractions….They pulled 5 of the dogs teeth…and said she needed another 11 teeth pulled! Really??? On a 5 year old dog! Talk about taking advantage of my elderly mother! You should all be ashamed of yourselves! Her $200 dollar bill ended up being almost $700! When she asked for someone to go over the charges with her she was told…”we are too busy for that”…..you people are a disgrace! My poor mom and her dog! Do not trust your animals to these people!!!
