So so fun! The way the architecture is built around the theme makes the environment really fun. I loved the different water activities available in the pool like the "pelican pond" and the hoses. A few college-aged girls had lots of fun!

The place is nice and all but the chlorine is really bad. Mu son has asthma and with in a few minutes of swimming there we had to leave. I wish it was not this bad or my kids could of enjoyed a longer time there.

Bring goggles, the chlorine is not in short supply. Other than my girls' eyes burning, this is a great place to get out some energy. The slide is a huge hit. They have an area specifically for tots. We lasted about two hours before our eyes couldn't take the chlorine anymore. Not sure if the snack bar is closed permanently, or just not open today, but we missed it. You can't beat it for the price ($3.50) and they don't charge you if you're a parent planning on sitting on the sidelines, unlike other pools in the area.

This is a great rec center. We call it “the bra” because it looks like a giant bra on the outside, haha! It has lap swimming lanes, a diving board, a rock wall, a tiny lazy river, a slide, and other fun things. I personally like the Washington City Community Rec center a little more than this one, but most of my kids actually like this one better.

No, life jackets can be worn by those who are shorter or not strong swimmers. They are required if younger children would like to ride with an adult.
No county taxes go toward this facility. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
The pools are indoor, but there is a large outdoor area that has a playground, sand volleyball courts, and a large lawn.
Yep! We have a large backyard area perfect for picnics, and a lobby with table and chairs inside.
Yes
There are steps into our leisure pool as well as a zero depth entry. Yes you can wear water shoes as long as they have not been worn outside. We have not had anyone use a walker in the pool but you are welcome to give it a try. Another option to help stable yourself may be to try a pool noodle. We have those there for you to try out.
We do not.
Yes, we are a year round pool.
