So this is how you do business. Don't send a bill, don't call. Patients wait for a bill that never comes. So you assume rightfully so that it was taken care of. Then. After a amount of time you send it to collections. As a 30 year retired collections specialist this as shady as you can get. How many people have you done this to? So instead of going about collecting a debt the proper way. You do it in a fashion that costs you money. You get the stars because my care was exemplary.

I have never experienced so much unprofessionalism in my life since tonight! 1/9/22 @3:30 am to be exact. The “nurse” with the glasses is SO UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL TAKE THE EXTRA 30 miles to go to Kootenai. I am very disappointed that this is our hospital.

They do not treat you for pain. I have a kidney disease that causes me to pass kidney stones frequently. Most of the time my family doctor will prescribe a pain med, anti nausea med, and another med that helps open everything up so the stone can pass more easily. If I have these 3 meds I can usually pass the stone at home within a few days. This time was different. I was in so much pain that I was throwing up over and over and couldn’t keep my anti nausea medication down. After about 12 hours of this I finally went to Shoshone medical center for fluids, ant nausea meds, and something for the pain. They did not have an ultrasound tech so no imaging was done. They gave me IV fluids and anti nausea meds via IV. They gave me one dose of pain meds via IV. The nurse administered it so fast my whole body felt like it was on fire. Once I was able to keep water down they discharged me with anti nausea meds but nothing for pain. When I asked what I’m supposed to take for pain they said ibuprofen. I have a kidney disease... I can’t take ibuprofen. They then said Tylenol. Anyone that has passed a kidney stone knows Tylenol doesn’t even touch the pain of a kidney stone. So now I’m stuck trying to pass this stone with nothing for the pain.

5/8/21 -Evening staff, Doctor and nurses were awesome. I was kept informed of everything they were doing and why, and they quickly found the necessary ICU bed and arranged for Life Flight. Thank you.

We do have an ER and can do a medical screening of all patients that present to the ER. We do not have an OB unit. You should follow up with your OBGYN to determine appropriate plan of care.
I havent heard of anything like that.
I also would like to know
