This is a must do in Prescott! We got both the 8 and 12 taste flights of mead/cider and enjoyed exploring the variety. They have 70+ kinds! Yummy charcuterie and flatbread and it sits below a cute store. We will be back 👍

A little tricky to find, it's inside a large eclectic gift shop and downstairs. I've had some variations on traditional Meade but this was off the charts in terms of quality, uniqueness and variety. Infusions of Jasmine and saffron, blends with sparkling wines, barrel aging with whiskeys and rum, incredibly complex and enchanting. Small plates available to complement the broad Meade flite options. Stark contrast from the nearby Prescott saloons in the square. Definitely worth a stop.

This review is long overdue! My husband & I absolutely LOVE this place. Such friendly staff that is always willing to educate you on the mead making process as well as recommend tastings based off your palate/interests. The environment is super cozy and comfortable. The flights are to die for- sooo many things to try and I truthfully have not had a single one that I did not enjoy...they vary greatly in flavor and depth. This past week I had the Orange/Vanilla Dream tickle and can't recommend enough!!! Bummed I was only on draft because I would definitely take some home :) Just do yourself a favor and add the meadery to your Prescott list

So many meads! If you can't find a mead you like, then you just don't like mead. Everything from dry traditional mead to fruity ciders, they have it all. Great hosts, nice environment. I'll come back when I'm in town.

Yes
Hi, thanks for asking. These white stoppers with metal levers are called swing-top or flip-top closures. You can search them online for videos demonstrating how to open or close them. Basically, the metal wire attached to the white stopper is the piece that closes and opens the stopper. On the side of the bottle neck, you'll see that the metal wraps half way around the neck in a semi circle. Use your thumbs to push both sides of the metal semi circle away from the bottle until it pops off the neck of the bottle and releases pressure on the stopper. You can then lift the stopper off the top of the bottle. Similarly, to close the bottle, set the white stopper back into place over the bottle opening, then use your thumbs to press the semi-circle of wire back onto the neck of the bottle.
Yes, we will be open the day after Thanksgiving.
That's correct, we do not take reservations but have a typically very short wait time in order to be seated. Also, on Fridays & Saturdays we have a hostess which helps expedite the process.
Thank you for asking! We will be closed on Christmas Day. Please join us on Christmas Eve, or the day after!
Would hesitate to classify this wonderful place as a restaurant but more as a tasting room. They look more like a bar and I'm sure AZ Dept of Liquor Control considers them one, but it's not a bar scene, so prob okay for those under 21. While they do have great food, I think they are tapas (small sharing plates) rather than entrees. Nothing against any other reviewer, just sharing my experiences...which were awesome here.
It is wine made with honey, so i think that makes it non-vegan.
