Very nice little park, close to the correctional facility. It's fairly quiet, the only part of it that might be considered handicap accessible is near the canoe and kayak launch, and there's only parking enough for two or three cars. The trails have a lot of trip hazards, roots and such. I was hoping to have some pretty river views along the back side of the trail, but no such luck. I did meet some gentleman catching catfish.

I absolutely love this park, be aware of the wildlife, I have seen a coyote several times.

Absolutely beautiful trails, very informative signs about the plant & tree life. Also really cool exercise spots/fitness guides. Best kept secret around!

Wonderful walking trails, located beside the Appomattox River. Terrific spot for Eagle watching.

There's a few Hills, but I wouldn't call it tough. I ran it and that was a little tough because of footing and speed. It's not very long though.
