Mi Ranchito is what I would call your bread and butter Mexican restaurant. It's a Kansas City staple and not only a solid deal with excellent food but you can count on good service and food that always hits the mark. Very reasonable with bottom less chips and great salsa (I add the chalula for an extra kick).

Although this location is far from fancy, it is always a favorite! Great food, generally competent and friendly servers. Good premium margaritas, but the house Marg is good too. Best espinaca dip in town! Sharing an entree? Get the kitchen-split for just a little more and each receive your own side rice & beans. But hurry in. The place can fill up fast during typical dinner rush hours.
