These people are full of ----. They are in favor of the employer. They lie and say they called you. Your phone never rings. But the governor has the nerves to ask for our vote (Bull).

Never can get anyone to answer. Called when I first filed my claim, that was at the end of August. The phone recording will eventually hang up on you, even after selecting to "stay on the line". I am reaching out AGAIN because I still haven't heard back from anyone on the status- can I speak to a human, please?

Worst government service . Do it yourself additude . Rude because I needed info how to file a claim to have employer pay my last wages. than just hangs ups . America has failed takes too long to process claims to the point you just want to give up on .

They’ve helped me in the past which I’m thankful for. Yet when I really needed them today an called, I get that it’s busy so I selected for them to return my call when it’s my turn. The automated thing says “don’t worry you won’t lose your place in line an we’ll return your call.” I hang up thinking they would. Mins to 5pm (almost 45/60mins after hanging up with the labor Commission) still no phone call. Terrible customer service sometimes. I could lose my job for nothing an need them to help an now have to wait til Monday an worried I could lose my job for having even gone to the labor commission already (my boss knows an is tryin to find any excuse to fire me). I need their help ASAP

I'm not a lawyer but I know if you are licensed and insured on a company vehicle....you're covered. Life happens and your employer is responsible for his own vehicles. An employer can't take from your check to fund a mistake or accident unless you signed something in an employee handbook. ( Bab M ) is correct and the local labor commissioner office is where you should go. It's free and they will let you know what you are entitled and/or not responsible for in regards to your check deductions. You can also go on the State website for the labor board and greed with keyword searching about your issue and there is a direct paragraph in there that says exactly what you need to show your employer prior to you going to Labor Board. Sometimes it's easier to inform your employer than to punish them. If you are complcompletely lost message ma and I can help. I've been dealing with this for a year and I can easily find it for you

You cannot be denied meal and rest breaks if you are an employee. Contact an attorney or go into the DLSE office because people are often misclassified as independent contractors when they are really employees.

Yes

A follow up to my question about vacation and mandatory days off. It is not because of my performance. They say we do not have enough work, which is not entirely true. There is always something that can be done.

Call NLRB or state Attorney General office.
