I had to call yesterday with my old man Harley. He's been sick for a long time with Cushing. It's getting near the end now and trouble breathing. They worked me in to see him and started some more medicine after a good check up and x-rays. Hopefully it will help I appreciate them taking the time to see him.

This was my first visit to the Staples Mill location, as I have always gone to the Woodman Rd location. My dog Jenny saw Dr. Peace for her Rabies shot as well as other upcoming shots. The office is super clean, very friendly and had a nice touch of the pleasing smell of odor concealing candles in every room. Normally I'm not a huge fan of candles, but these were really nice and made for a nice o really environment. These ease of checkout was nice too and was done on an iPad in the patient room as opposed to having to wait in the waiting room. Everyone went out of their way to see what they could so to help. However I do have a could of suggestions: Since this is one of Dr. Locke Taylor's location's, why is his name not on the marquee? Glen Allen Animal Hospital means nothing to me. When I was searching for Dr Taylor's office on Staples Mill Rd, I had a hard time finding it. I had no idea this was it until I stopped and looked at the physical address. The weather was bad outside too so it made it even harder. Also, why is there not a dog waste station outside the door as it is on Woodman Rd. After our visit, I took my dog outside but there was no place for animal waste. Fortunately, Dr. Peace saw me pick it up and came to throw it away.

All of my pets are rescues, and they have all been to LT for the past 8 years..I have never had a bad experience, and their costs are much lower then most vet clinics.. I love all of the Drs.. everyone makes over my babies like they are their own..I trust them implicitly..

My fiance and I had to bring our sweet Emma Lou in last Wednesday morning because she had suddenly became ill. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye and let her go that day :( Not something easy to do. But, we just wanted to thank the staff here , and a very special Thank You to Dr. Peace. She was very sweet, compassionate and very helpful throughout the whole process. We got a phone call yesterday that her remains were ready to be picked up. We got our sweet girl cremated. The box she came to us in was very sweet, has her name engraved on the top. They also saved us a lock of her hair. Thank you so much Dr. Peace. We will be bringing our other 2 babies to this vet in the future.
