Early spring/ late winter review.. Several fishermen around the lake, and cleared pathways for the most part. The back side of the lake trail was still too muddy to cross. But love this park it's very charming.

It was fun but the playground could use more equipment. Enjoyed the walk around the lake in the shade but it would be more enjoyable if you could SEE the lake from the trail. Needs more places to picnic or just sit and enjoy the day.

Absolutely you need a license and October through May a trout license also.
They have lots of canoes and a landing zone. But their lake is not designed for swimming. It is more of a fishing/bird watching area.
Yes it's public and yes you can fish but you have to have freshwater license and depending on what time of year do you have to have trout fishing license also they have a little type of boat rental place maybe you can get your stuff from there I don't know for sure I've never seen it open
