Very rude place, white lady old ( almost bald with barely any hair very short ) worker seems like she was cleaning the carts today Saturday 7/8/22 at 3:07pm had a opinion about my son and me and how he was sitting inside the cart approached me very rude! Your guys workers need to be trained on there professionalism. Don’t shop here. Explains why her hair doesn’t grow!

I placed an order through the Safeway app, selected a location and the time slot for pickup, made the payment, received confirmation even a follow-up message saying that their associate has started shopping and my order was on track. No more progress shown on the app after that, called store but no one answered, came to store one hour after my pickup time to check my order status but got laughed by the person in charge. The store manager complained that there was an error on the app, only a few orders were processed at the beginning and the rest would be cancelled, he laughed that how come people think they can really buy 100 items for $5, that’s a mistake blah blah. He asked me if I was the one who came in earlier and had an argument with them already. He insisted that it was me although I explained I just came. He made me feel like all Asian ladies are crazy and like to take advantage. What a joke. No matter what I ordered, I did it through your official app and it told me it was successful and in progress. Neither your staff nor the app informed me that the order had a problem and would be canceled, that’s why I came to the store in person to check. I don’t care whether it’s a system mistake or your programmers made a mistake. It’s not my mistake. As a customer I shouldn’t have been treated like this. Safeway Sunnyvale, check the camera monitor in your store, I’m 7 months pregnant and I guess the lady who came before me was not. This was my first time visiting your store and will be the last.

Went in at 1pm today to buy the Fried Chicken special, they told me to wait for 20-25 minutes as they were making. After waiting for 15 minutes, they told me the Fried Chicken is no longer available until 4pm. It seems like the employees working here like to play with the customers and wasting their time? There is another Safeway that is just 1.5 miles down to the street. Go to that one instead of this one if you don't want to end up being played by the employees.

A more clean feeling compares to other Safeway. The line aren’t that long too for self-checkout. However, their recycling bottles machine were full and they only take it in the mornings. I wish it was morning and night cycle. Also beware, last time the store said it was open until 2 AM but when I was there around 1 AM, the store was closed. Disappointed but not surprised
