This one deserves a worst hospital title. Slow AF phone service for dental, phoneline starts at 7am, been on the line since 6, they pick up at 8am and decided to tell me that the spots were full. This dental apartment is a complete joke, the hospital too.

Local mainstay that has cranked out several generations of my family members (Including me, born on the third floor!) where my father spent his last moments, where I visited all through my youth to get patched up from causes ranging from fistfights on AC Transit, taking relatives who had gotten shot, and various pregnancies, all of these important historical events in my family history, took place here. It is also, (Here it comes) a place where you will quickly learn that your painful fingernail tear, or toothache, might get ignored who you scream in agony, because thought you do not know it, there is usually something dying of a gunshot or knife wound in trauma. So toughen up before coming here, this is real life and death stuff, the only public hospital in the county, that takes all comers, and the staff there is understaffed, underpaid, and overworked. Regardless I was born there, My father died there, I am linked to this place and thank them for being there. Better than dying.

Was late but urgent care still accommodated me and only waited 5-10 minutes before being seen. Dr. Munoz was very attentive about my concerns. Hospital was clean too.

Visiting hours end daily 7pm
Fruitvale station, #62 line, about 20min.
Appointment line is not open at 5am. Hours are 8am-4pm M-F. Call exactly at 8am, wait time is usually 30 seconds to 5min. If lines are busy call again 1pm.
Anytime, just keep in mind that some appointments may take longer due to a backup of patients and demand for certain clinics.
I believe visiting hours start from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with doctors clearance.
Try calling the hospital operator.
They won't turn you away. But the bill in the mail can be expensive. I've heard people getting emergency medical if you let the know you are not insured. Not particular to that hospital. A phone call wouldn't hurt.
Call your insurance company or there website should give you a list of doctors that accept your coverage in your area.
10:30 am and 1:00 pm
Click on website, find on website where it says Contact Us.
If you are planning to see your Dr. Yes, you have to make an appointment. If it is an emergency please go to the ER for further help call 911 if unable to take self or person to the hospital
