Wish they would go back to pre-pandemic hours. Oftentimes there are 50+ people still here during closing time. Otherwise pretty good.

I don’t usually like to write bad reviews, but I lost my electric scooter from inside the gym. It was locked inside the gym in the bike storage. Somebody came from outside and had their equipment, and cut the lock and stole the scooter. Then he came back and took a bike. All of that has happened from inside the gym, without noone of the security doing anything about it. When I asked them, they said they’re not responsible about any things stolen from the gym. No observation or anything. So basically you can just broke the lockers and took whatever you want without anyone stopping you. I definitely don’t feel safe anymore at this gym and will never renew my membership again.

Terrible customer service experience. I emailed them for months to cancel my membership due to an illness and they kept charging me for 6 months. Finally I called and cancelled and they still charged me for the month. I honestly would consider going back because it’s a good gym (when I’m healthy) but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

They are open both indoors and outdoors. Easy reservation system to book your place. Good selection of equipment. Space is not as new as the mid market one, but it is a lot larger. Even has a room just for all the doggos!

Hello Matt, we have free parking at the SoMa Gym for FITNESS SF members. There's a parking lot directly across the street from our front door. You can pick up a parking sticker at our front desk.
Mike, I just returned to SF after being out of the U.S. for two months. I informed Fitness SF of the start date and end date. As I recall, I had to calculate a precise 60 day interval. Although the gym won't waive fees entirely, they do reduce the monthly rate to $20 per month for two months. The process went smoothly. Happy travels!
Hello. Yes we do have secure bike parking at the SoMa Gym. It's a system operated by Bikeep. It's located directly out front of the main entrance.

Hello Shanen. We are currently open with our Outdoor Gym. In terms of Indoor operations, once the City of SF goes back to the Red Tier, then it's likely that we'll be allowed to have 10% Indoor capacity for general members. We do not know when exactly the City of SF will return to the Red Tier, but we hope this will be very soon.

All Members must wear a mask while working out and they also need to use our disinfectant spray bottles to wipe down equipment & machines. All-Gym-Access to the 8 Bay Area Gyms is $99.95 per month. The SoMa Gym is open 7 days a week, 5 AM to 10 PM on the weekdays and 7 AM to 8 PM on the weekends. We have Cardio Machines, Free Weights, Olympic Lifting Platforms, Locker Rooms stocked with E.O. Yes the free pass is for local residents of San Francisco. I'm sure they have a day rate check on line. You get what you PAY for, cheap "Planet Fitness " does NOT have the cleaning nor do they have the caliber of people that a Fitness SF, Crunch, Equinox or Bay Club offer . PF is on par with a 24 hours fitness...one word NASTY😂😃😂😁😀😄😅😆
