Military campground is very affordable. RV sites are clean and have a concrete pad, full hookup (except TV hookup). Navy base has old classic swimming pool and plenty places to bike.

Bathrooms/showers are a sight for sore eyes. The primitive camp sites are the worst ever. The tables at the rv sites are not even useable. Plus side is location to busch gardens

We stayed at Kings Creek, a military campground aka Cheatham Annex, over the Memorial Day weekend. The location is tucked away from the main base, but it is a cozy location. The RV Park is in the heart of America's history related to the America Revolution. The area is surrounded by plenty of woods to hike. In general, - Park is clean - Full hookup works well - Ample size cement pads. - Parking is tight for 5th Wheels. The truck and rig can barely fit on the pad. - No internet - Almost no cell signal for AT&T and T-Mobile cell signal. - Distance to big box stores requires driving Two weeks' advance notice is required to obtain a guest badge. Otherwise, the guest must be escorted at all times by the sponsor.

Nice quiet campground with large level pads and full hookups. The military installation is quiet and has some simple services available. Phone signal is week, but Verizon has two to three bars.

Yes, need some type of military affiliation.

My husband and I will be stationed in Newport News Virginia for the next 2 years. We are looking for a long-term RV parking with full hookups. Do you have anything available? Thank you

I suggest asking the Campground directly rather than the Google Maps community.

Is there river access to place a kayak in the water from the campground?
