The door itself is very quality. Unfortunately, the installation left a lot to be desired. See photos attached. The door had overflowing glue coming from the panel. The caulking was not smooth and at multiple points in the sealant and wood used for the frame there is discoloration. In addition, the walls around the sliding door are now scuffed/discolored. The wood plank placed at the bottom of the door does not sit flush with the trim, leaving an gap that was caulked. When I followed up with RiteWindow to discuss my dissatisfaction with the installation, the response from the manager was that it should be "expected that I would need to clean up the caulk and repaint the trimming." He pointed to the fine print that "maintenance of the caulking is the responsibility of the owner." He offered to send someone out to clean up the glue and buff out the scuff marks, but at this point I'll take the burden of refinishing the area myself. Not exactly the response I was hoping for from a product that I paid a premium price for.

We had been looking to have my front door replaced for a few months and was unable to receive any responses to my outreach - or could not get a follow up after a consult. I contacted Rite Window and was able to get a consult appointment set up quickly. It was a great conversation with Ann Marie and I was able to get the process moving the same day. A team member was back out a week later to complete the measurements and confirm everything with my selection. We were told upfront there would be a 12-16 week period before the door would arrive and an install could be scheduled. Due to delays, this period extended a bit further, but Rite Window was in contact multiple times to keep us updated, which was very much appreciated. The installation was just recently completed and the installation team arrived on time, were very courteous and completed the job in a few hours. They did a great job with cleanup and were very helpful in pointing out some areas that would need my attention due to issues with the old door and frame. We can easily get those addressed thanks to the team detailing everything they saw. We love the new door and are satisfied with the service we received during the entire process. Hi Deonne: Oh dear. I'm afraid we no longer serve the Warwick area. We used to, but found we weren't working there enough to justify keeping up with the required contractor paperwork in the Ocean State. As we grow we hope to return, but we currently serve MA and NH only. I'm Sorry....Have you looked at Moonworks? Hi Collen - IF YOU'RE ASKING ABOUT CLEANING THE WINDOW FRAME, do the following: Fill a spray bottle with one part vinegar to two parts water. Give the window frame a good dousing, allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes, then gently rub the surface with a soft-bristle scrub brush, and use a cloth to wipe away any debris. IF YOU'RE ASKING HOW TO TILT THE WINDOW TO CLEAN THE OUTSIDE GLASS, do the following. There a 2 tabs on the top of the bottom sash. Move both tabs to the middle at the same time and pull the top of the window towards you. For the top sash, (after the bottom sash is tilted in), slide the top sash down to access the tabs on top and do the same -Please call our Service Department and we can assist by phone, or visit to help you in person if needed. Hi Tania. The answer below by Jerry is incorrect. (We don't know who Jerry is and he does not work at Rite Window) The correct answer is yes, Rite Window replaces basement windows. (often called "hopper windows"). But, whether they qualify as an "egress window" depends on their size. If you have a small "hopper" type or a large "egress" we can replace it. Although we can't create a new egress opening in the foundation if one doesn't already exist; that's more of a job for a mason or new construction contractor. Hi Ms Morrison. We install entry doors and storm doors, but not storm window. We don't do storm windows because we're in the "replacement window" business and our replacement window doesn't require storms... Not to drop too obvious a hint, but storms over the window can be less than attractive and efficient, and if you replaced your windows you'd no longer need to deal with the storms.
