We are so very grateful for the care we all received at Care Dimensions Hospice House when my mom was a patient there in April 2022 As I have told anyone who will listen: Even though my husband and I (a physician and a rabbi respectively) thought we knew a lot about hospice, we really had no idea how much the residential hospice experience would support us as a family--so that we could support my mom, but also simply in support of our own experience. I am moved beyond words when I think of the level of calm we experienced there, along with the level of wise care. We were impressed with a number of the staff, and want to highlight in particular Jessica who shepherded us gently through our admission and discharge; Morissa the social worker who brought me great comfort as she helped me sort out a psychologically thorny issue; Dan the chaplain, who had a life-changing conversation with us; and Li the music therapist, who generously learned and sang so beautifully a song of special meaning to my mom, and with whom we had a special connection. At a very difficult time in our lives, Care Dimensions enabled us to feel held, and to give my mother the calm and gentle death she always prayed for. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

Kaplan Family Hospice was such a blessing to my mom and my family. My mother was treated with the utmost dignity in her final days and my family was supported throughout. We cannot thank them or recommend them highly enough.

My father in law used their palliative care program. He is a curmudgeon and typically doesn't take well to medical staff so he misses appointments frequently. The nurse practitioner came to the house so he didn't have to be in a waiting room. She spoke to him in a way he could understand; even used car references as he was a mechanic. She helped him create an advanced directive and called his PCP with recommendations to make him feel better. It was the best experience and didn't cost us a dime!

Care Dimensions helped my family and I tremendously seven years back when my mom passed away. It has taken me years to be able to talk about it, but I have always been thankful for the care and comfort Care Dimensions provided us all during that time. At first, my mom was receiving Palliative Care from Care Dimensions, but then they suggested she receive Hospice care, and that was the best thing for her. One thing that we were so thankful for was that my mom was able to receive care while she stayed at home. A nurse came to care for my mom at home and she was wonderful beyond words. She was exactly what my mom needed while also helping and involving my sister and I with this difficult process. Additionally, the communication from Care Dimensions was amazing. Mom’s physician would call and update us and that allowed for us to plan for out of state family to come and visit in time before her passing. Overall, our experience with Care Dimensions was wonderful. It was very comforting knowing they provided my mom with the pain management and comfort she needed while also being there to support my family.
